Join the artists, drug addicts, drag queens, and budding entrepreneurs of New York's East Village in this landmark rock musical. Jonathan's Larson's fabulously tuneful modern take on La Boheme took Broadway by storm, won every award in sight (including the Pulitzer), and ran for more than 12 years. You can be sure that EPAC will bring you the uncensored version of this raunchy, provocative, yet surprisingly sweet and tender musical about love and sex among young artists and rebels living in the shadow of AIDS.
About the AIDS Fund...
The AIDS Fund of South Central PA is a community partnership of the National AIDS Fund and is one of a network of 30 community partnerships across the country. The AIDS Fund supports regional HIV/AIDS advocacy, prevention, education and support services through fundraising and grantmaking. The service area includes the South Central PA counties of Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lebanon, Lancaster, Perry and York.
As a community partnership, the dollars raised locally receive a 50% Challenge Grant from the National AIDS Fund. This creates a pool of funds available for grants to nonprofit organizations in the region that provide programs and services to persons living with HIV/AIDS. To date, the AIDS Fund has raised and granted nearly $1.5 million to AIDS service organizations. As the only regional funder solely designated to provide support for HIV/AIDS programs, the Fund fills a critical gap to provide funding that might otherwise be unavailable. In 2009, the AIDS Fund of South Central PA granted $54,500 to local community agencies. Learn more by going to www.tfec.org
